Quarantine: my experience & plans
It is well-known that due to a certain virus many businesses are closed and people are staying home under quarantine.
Quarantine is affecting people in all kinds of ways, myself included. I am a currently single, homeschooler, artist, and musician, and I still live at home. I don't have a large social circle and I usually spend most of my nights at home. On top of that, I just had my final spinal surgery and I am still recovering. I am rather lucky, being quarantined is not nearly as hard as I thought it would be.
Being a teen still living at home, this virus and quarantine are fairly easier to bear for me than many others. While I may not be feeling the difficulties as much, others are suffering greatly. I want to spread light and positivity and encourage people to stay hopeful because this will clear up. You all are in my prayers, please stay safe out there!
Unfortunately, like many entertainers in Las Vegas, my scheduled gigs are on hold for the time being. While I may not be out gigging, I am still working on my musical projects at home. Being isolated is not fun, but we can still be productive as long as we chose to be proactive!
I have so many plans, projects, and ideas that I will be working on during this time. First and foremost I will be expanding my knowledge and education in music. I will be enrolling in several courses, as well as learning how to better produce my demo songs. I have been wanting to take time to learn these things, and now I have the perfect reason to start.
Second, I am working on expanding my social media presence, and sharing more with you! I am guilty when it comes to sharing content inconsistently. I am working not only on creating new and improved content, but also sharing things that will connect and hopefully inspire others during this time of uncertainty.
I am excited about all my projects and glad to have something to work on. At the start of quarantine, I began putting together this new website and blog! I am not the most experienced writer, but I love to share my passions, thoughts, and ideas.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read through this post. Please share your thoughts with me in the comments. Don't forget to connect with my on social media using the links below. Let me know what you would like to see more of on this blog. And again, be safe everyone!
